DIY stone paper Self Serve Bars & Tablecloths
Lots of properties make the stone paper a great choice for this project: tear resistant, very spill resistant, accepts most mediums: a fun way to let your guests in on the menu details and ingredients. In this case the falafel recipe here was made gluten free for a special guest. The recipe is from Sylvia Fountaine, chef and owner of Feast Catering.
The stone paper is excellent for a Thanksgiving table cloth, self-serve Thanksgiving buffet, a drink bar, a waffle bar, dessert table, BBQ, any situation where a little or a lot of explanation could help… really helpful for indicating ingredient details like gluten free!
Layout the empty dishes in their approximate places and start communicating!
Easy on the hostess- this saved lots of last minute explanations in getting these specifics delivered up front! FYI, I put a cork trivet under the cast iron pan as direct heat will thermo form the paper.
Yep! That dressing goes on the salad.
Homemade is always appreciated and really easy in this case: check out the recipe!
At Marche Akhavan there 4 or 5 tzatziki’s to choose from!
Sharpies were excellent and did not smudge with spills. Definitely this was the all out winner in what’s important to add to your falafel.
BTW, spills easily wipe up from the stone paper.
